What a freelance quotation has to do
A quotation has one job. Tell the client what you will do, what it will cost, and how long that price stands. Everything else on the page is decoration. The third one is what most freelancers leave off, and it is the one that protects you: without a validity date the price is open forever, and a client can come back in six months and accept last year’s rates.
