The story
I run a design studio called 11pixels. I love the design work. The invoicing? That's a different story.
One evening, stuck in Bangalore traffic on a two-wheeler, my business partner and I realized we needed to send an invoice to a client. Right then. But we couldn't — our invoicing tool needed a laptop, a form, ten fields filled out. By the time we got home, we'd moved on. The invoice went out three days late. Not because we forgot. Because the process made it impossible to do in the moment.

I tried free invoice generators — start from scratch every time. I tried the big tools — ten fields, a learning curve, built for someone running a company, not a freelancer between client calls. Nothing worked the way I actually worked: on my phone, between meetings, mostly on WhatsApp.
So I built Riffit. The idea was simple: if you can describe the work in a WhatsApp message, you should be able to create a professional invoice from that same message. No forms. No templates. No switching apps. And for everything else — tracking, client management, business overview — there's a dashboard that works just as well.
Invoicing was just the start. Everything a freelancer needs to run their business — quotations, contracts, payment tracking — should be this simple.
