Four contract templates, not one

The Freelance Service Agreement, the Retainer Agreement and the Mutual NDA now sit beside the Project Contract on the dashboard. The Service Agreement is for one job: one fee, one delivery date. The Retainer is a monthly fee invoiced in advance, with a minimum term and notice period you set. The NDA is mutual confidentiality before any work is agreed. Billing follows the template. A Project Contract or Service Agreement becomes one invoice for the fee, or the balance if you raised a deposit invoice first. A Retainer bills one month at a time, each invoice naming its month, and you raise each one yourself. An NDA has nothing to bill.

A free UPI QR code generator, no account needed

Create a QR anyone can scan to pay you, with the amount filled in or left open. Pick the card's colour, and a black or white QR. Download it as a card ready to print, share it straight to a chat, or take just the QR as a PNG or SVG. It all happens in your browser, so nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Six designs for invoices and quotes

Classic, Minimal, Poster, Bracket, Ink and Headline. Pick one in Settings and your invoices and quotes follow it, with a live preview of the real PDF. Free picks any of the six, and each prints exactly as it comes, with the Riffit badge. Pro adds your logo, your brand, page and text colours, any of 35 fonts, a one-colour option and no Riffit badge. Classic stays the default, and contracts keep their own layout.

Design & branding and Document defaults

Invoice Settings is now two pages. Design & branding holds your design, logo, colours and fonts. Document defaults holds invoice payment terms and footer note, quote validity (7, 15, 30 or 45 days) and footer note, and how long a contract signing link stays open (7, 14 or 30 days).

Sent documents keep their look

An invoice or quote keeps the look it went out in, even if you change your design or your plan later. Your logo shows on the PDF and on your client’s page on Pro only.

Your own visit is not your client’s

Open your own invoice, quote or contract link in a browser where you are signed in, and it no longer marks the document viewed or tells you your client opened it. Link previews that chat apps fetch on their own stop counting too.

PDF fonts ship with Riffit

Every invoice, quote and contract PDF used to load its fonts from outside services while it was being made. They now ship with Riffit, so a slow font server can no longer hold up the PDF that lands in your chat.

Pick a service, the rest fills in

In the WhatsApp invoice and quote forms, picking a saved service now fills in that line’s details and rate. Both stay editable before you send the form.

Thirteen guides, thirteen videos

The help centre now has a short video for every guide. Your services got the last one.

Save the work you sell

Settings has a Services tab now. Put in what you sell and what you charge for it, once. After that it is a pick on an invoice or a quote instead of typing the name and the rate again.

Pick it in WhatsApp too

The invoice and quote forms in chat now start with your services. Pick one and the description and the rate fill themselves. Type "services" to see what you have saved, or "add service" to save one without leaving the chat.

Bill something new, keep it

Bill something that is not saved yet and Riffit offers to remember it after the document is made. One tap and it is in the list for next time.

Archived, not deleted

Stop selling something and you archive it. It leaves the pickers, and every invoice and quote that used it still reads correctly, because a document copies the words and the price when it is made. Type the name again and Riffit offers to bring it back.

Three on Free, unlimited on Pro

Free saves 3 services. Archiving one makes room for another, so the first three are not permanent. Pro has no limit.

Bill the client from chat

Turning an accepted quote or a signed contract into an invoice in WhatsApp used to end with a link to the dashboard. Now the chat asks how to send it, and the invoice goes to your client from the same conversation.

Due dates you actually chose

If you had never set payment terms, a new invoice fell due the day it was raised and went overdue the next morning. New invoices now default to 7 days, and ones made from a quote or a contract use your own payment terms.

Quote PDFs land in the chat

Save a quote in WhatsApp and the PDF arrives right in the chat, the way an invoice always has, ready to forward.

Converting is a tap

Turning a quote into an invoice or a contract from chat now answers with a button instead of a raw link.

Tell your client what to deduct

If your client withholds TDS, the invoice can now say so. Pick the kind of work, and the invoice shows the deduction and the net your client should transfer. The total does not change, because the total is still what they owe.

Calculated on the right amount

The deduction is worked out on your fee before GST, which is the base your client should be using. Left blank, a lot of finance teams apply the rate to the GST-inclusive total instead, and you receive less than you should.

Record what was actually deducted

When the money lands, tick "client deducted TDS" and enter the figure. The invoice closes as settled in full rather than short paid, because it was. Your client withheld tax, they did not underpay you.

See the year total

Your dashboard now shows how much was withheld across the financial year, next to what you collected. Take that number to your return: TDS is money held against your PAN, not money lost.

Bill by the hour

Quantities can be fractions now, so 2.5 hours is 2.5 hours. Before this they were whole numbers only, and a decimal was quietly rounded on one route and floored on another.

Help lists everything

Type help and the chat lists every command it understands, quotes and contracts included, instead of three buttons.

Bill a contract from the menu

Typing contract now offers to bill a signed one, not just a link to the dashboard.

Tap to pick

When a quote matches more than one client, or asks how long it should stay valid, you pick from a list instead of typing a number. And typing quote halfway through something else no longer gets read as a client’s name.

Quotes start in WhatsApp now

Ask for a quote and a short form opens inside the chat: the client, the lines, the rate, how long it stays valid. You see the whole thing priced before anything is saved, and nothing is created until you tap save.

Or just describe it

On Pro, type something like "quote priya 50000 for a website" and Riffit reads it the way it already reads an invoice.

Your quotes, from the same conversation

Ask for your quotes and you get the list, with what each one is worth and whether it is still open. Push a valid-until date out, or withdraw a quote you no longer want to stand behind, without opening a browser.

An accepted quote becomes an invoice from chat

Say which quote and what it should become, and the client, the line items and the terms carry across. It works for a contract too. Revising still opens the dashboard, because changing prices is easier on a big screen, and Riffit takes you straight to that quote.

A quote that is about to lapse chases itself

If your client has not answered and the valid-until date is close, Riffit reminds them for you. Quotes used to expire quietly, and the only person who noticed was the one who stopped hearing back.

A signed contract turns into an invoice

When a contract is signed, Riffit messages you with the client, the number and what it is worth. One tap drafts the invoice, with the work and the amount already carried across. Typing works too, like "turn CON26-004 into an invoice". Contracts are still written on the dashboard, where there is room for terms and signatures.

You hear about an accepted quote where you work

An accepted quote now reaches you on WhatsApp, with the client, the number and the amount, and buttons to turn it into an invoice or a contract. It used to be something you found out by opening the dashboard.

Getting paid is a moment now

Marking an invoice paid used to show a message for five seconds and then take it away. It now closes properly, names the amount and the client, and says something when it is your first payment ever, your fastest, or your biggest.

You hear about it when a client acts

A client accepting a quote or signing a contract used to be something you discovered on your next visit. It now waits for you on the dashboard, with the number and the name, and it never interrupts what you came in to do.

A sound when it lands

A short cue when an invoice is paid, a quote is accepted or a contract is signed. Nothing on clicks, nothing on menus, nothing while you are just reading a page. Turn it off in Settings, and it stays quiet on its own if your device asks for reduced motion.

The paid invoice your client sees

A settled invoice used to leave your client with a bare number and a badge. It now closes with a clear confirmation, the date it was settled, and a receipt to download, so the last thing they see is as considered as the first.

Your client can tell you they paid

After paying by UPI, your client is asked once whether it went through. If they say yes, a note appears on your dashboard so you know to check your bank. Riffit never sees a UPI payment, so this is your client telling you rather than a confirmation from Riffit.

Quotations

The document that comes before the invoice. Build a quote on your dashboard, send it by email, or on WhatsApp on Pro, and see the moment your client opens it. Unlimited on every plan, including Free.

Your client answers on the link

No printing, no signing, no account to create. They accept, or ask for changes, from the page you send them. You see which, and when.

An accepted quote becomes an invoice

One click, and the line items carry across. Bill it in parts if the job is staged, and Riffit keeps track of how much of the quote is still unbilled.

Quotes have a shelf life

Every quote carries a valid-until date, so a price you gave in August is not something a client can accept in December. Extend it in one click if you want to keep it open.

A free quotation generator, no account needed

Build a quotation PDF on the site in four steps and download it. Nothing to sign up for. If you want to send it and track it, the quote comes with you when you make an account.

Invoices are now a form on WhatsApp

Tap Create invoice and fill one native form: pick a client, add up to five line items, set a discount. You still review the full preview, with GST and totals, before anything is saved. One quick form instead of a long back-and-forth.

Speak your invoice (Pro)

Send a voice note like “bill Rahul 5,000 for logo design” and AI Invoicing takes it from there. Riffit shows you what it heard, then builds the invoice. Hinglish welcome.

Your PDF lands in the chat

The moment you save an invoice, the finished PDF arrives right in your Riffit chat, ready to forward to your client on WhatsApp.
