Every signed contract comes with an audit-trail certificate you keep, downloadable from the contract: who signed, when, from where, and that it was OTP-verified. Structured to address the §65B (Indian Evidence Act) / §63 (BSA) requirements. Your client gets the signed PDF; the certificate stays with you.

It depends on the template. The Project Contract covers a fixed scope with milestones, a total fee, a deposit then the balance, included revision rounds and an hourly rate for out-of-scope work. The Freelance Service Agreement covers one job: one fee, one delivery date, an optional advance, revisions included, extra work quoted first and final files released on payment. The Retainer Agreement covers a monthly fee invoiced in advance, with a minimum term and notice period you set and an hourly rate for work beyond the monthly scope. The Mutual NDA covers confidentiality before any work is agreed, with no fee. The three work templates have ₹ amounts and GST fields built in. You fill in the specifics and send.
Four, all on the dashboard: the Project Contract, the Freelance Service Agreement, the Retainer Agreement and the Mutual NDA. Use the Freelance Service Agreement for a single job and the Project Contract for work that runs in phases. Use the Retainer Agreement for ongoing monthly work, and the Mutual NDA for pitches, briefs and early conversations before any work is agreed. Between them they suit freelance design, development, writing and consulting work.
The IT Act, 2000 gives legal recognition to electronic signatures in India, and every Riffit contract is signed with a one-time passcode sent to the email or WhatsApp of the person signing, then sealed with an audit-trail certificate that records who signed, when, and from where. Your client gets the signed PDF. You keep a separate audit-trail certificate, downloadable from the contract. Riffit also messages you on WhatsApp to tell you it is signed. For a Project Contract, Freelance Service Agreement or Retainer Agreement, that message has a Create invoice button, and one tap drafts the invoice. You can ask for it in chat instead, or do it from the contract on your dashboard. A Project Contract or Freelance Service Agreement becomes one invoice for the fee. A retainer is billed one month at a time, and you raise the invoice for each month yourself. A Mutual NDA has nothing to bill, so its message has no button. Nothing is sent to your client until you send it.
