Your invoice is the one page your client reads closely. Riffit gives you six designs for it, and the same six for your quotes.
Picking a design
Settings → Design & branding. The six are Classic, Minimal, Poster, Bracket, Ink and Headline. Tap one and the preview beside it redraws as the real PDF, not a mock-up.
Classic is the default. If you never open this page, nothing changes.
One choice covers both: the design you pick is used for invoices and for quotes. Contracts are separate. They keep their own layout and are not affected by anything on this page.
What each plan changes
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| The six designs | Pick any | Pick any |
| Fonts and colours | The design's own, exactly as it comes | Any of 35 fonts for headings and body |
| Your logo | No | Yes, on the PDF and on your client's page |
| Brand, page and text colour | No | Yes |
| One colour only | No | Yes |
| Riffit badge | Shown | Gone |
A Free invoice is not a stripped-down one. Each design is finished: it prints in its own fonts and colours, with a small Riffit badge. Pro is for when you want it to look like your business.
What Pro lets you set
Logo. Upload it once. It prints on the PDF and shows on the page your client opens. On Free it does not appear in either place.
Colours. Three to set: your brand colour, the page colour and the text colour. Pick from the swatches or choose any colour you like.
One colour only. Turns the design into a single colour, for a client who prints it or a look that is deliberately plain.
Fonts. Choose any of 35, separately for headings and for body text. If you change your mind, Use the design's default fonts puts it back.
Documents you already sent do not change
When you send an invoice or a quote, it keeps the look it went out in. Change your design next week, or move from Pro to Free, and the ones already sent stay as they were.
New documents follow your current plan. If a trial ends and you are on Free, the next invoice goes out with the design's own fonts and colours and the Riffit badge, and without your logo.
Where the rest of Settings lives
Payment terms, footer notes and quote validity are not design. They sit in Document defaults, covered in The settings worth doing once. What your client does with the page you send is in What your client sees, and how they pay.
