What you can type in chat
The words that do something, the sentences that also work, and what to type when you cannot remember either.

Riffit answers to single words. You do not have to remember them, because help lists the lot, but these are the ones worth knowing.
The words
| Type | What happens |
|---|---|
new | Opens the invoice form. invoice and create do the same |
quote | Opens the quote form. quotes, quotation and quotations all work |
pending | Your unpaid invoices, with due dates and what is overdue |
drafts | Invoices you started and have not sent, and what each is missing |
contracts | A link to make one on the dashboard, and a button to bill one you have already signed |
dashboard | A one-tap link into the web dashboard, already logged in |
setup | Your invoice defaults: GST, payment terms, UPI, bank details |
login | The same one-tap link, when you are signed out on the web |
upgrade | What Pro costs and what it adds |
feedback | Where to ask for a feature or report a bug |
help | Everything above, in one message |
Sentences work too
You do not have to be precise. Riffit reads a fair amount of ordinary English at rest, and these are real examples rather than a wish list:
- "convert QUO26-011 to an invoice" turns an accepted quote into one. It works without the word "quote" in it, because the number is enough.
- "bill the Rahul contract" raises an invoice from a signed contract.
- "extend my quote" pushes a validity date out.
- "cancel my quote" withdraws one.
The verbs are deliberately narrow. "make a quote for Rahul" still creates a new one rather than converting an old one, because make is not a converting word.
When it does not understand
You get the menu, not an error. Three buttons, and a More behind them with the rest.
That is also what a greeting gets. Say hi and Riffit shows you what it can do rather than asking you to be more specific.
One thing you cannot type
Contracts are made on the dashboard. Typing contracts hands you a link to create one there, and a button to bill one that is already signed. The making happens on a screen; a signed contract becomes an invoice from chat like anything else.
